1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using PoliStudy ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time; continued use of the Service after modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of the Service

PoliStudy is a community-driven exam preparation platform designed to help students at Politecnico di Torino and similar universities practice with multiple-choice questions. The Service includes AI-assisted features such as automatic question validation, translation, and exercise generation.

3. User Accounts

You can create an account using a supported third-party authentication provider (currently Google). You are responsible for the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. User-Submitted Content

By submitting questions or other content to PoliStudy, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, and non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, adapt, and display such content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service. You declare that you own or have the necessary rights to the content submitted and that it does not violate the intellectual property rights of any third party.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to submit content that is illegal, harmful, harassing, defamatory, or infringing on intellectual property rights. You agree not to attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure. We reserve the right to remove content and to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Intellectual Property

All original software, design, and branding of PoliStudy are the property of its developers. The question content contributed by the community belongs to the respective authors according to the license described in Section 4. University course codes, names, and curricula referenced in the Service are the property of the respective institutions.

7. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party AI models to validate, translate, and enhance content. AI-generated results are provided solely as educational support and may contain errors. You should not rely on AI-generated explanations or practice questions as a substitute for official course materials.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, explicit or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PoliStudy and its developers shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use of the Service.

10. Applicable Law

These Terms are governed and interpreted in accordance with Italian laws. Any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Turin, Italy.
